County Bowling was founded in 1889, and we got our name after the former home of our then next door neighbours the Hampshire Cricket Club whom we rented our green from, and as well respected bowls club we welcome both Individual bowlers, and also Touring Teams who are visiting the South Coast or even on route to the Isle of Wight as we are very close to both the ferry, and cruise terminals, and also Southampton City Centre.

For the individual bowler to club is open from 10:30am until 12:30pm on most days for a small charge (Mid April to Mid September), and if needed we can loan you club bowls from our stock.

On our well maintained 6 grass rinks we can accommodate Touring Teams where we also have a well stocked bar, and also our own private car park.

To compliment Touring Teams we are able to offer a selection of meals/lunches, and snacks, along with a selection of beers, wines, and spirits served from our well stocked bar which has recently been updated.
